Summer is Here.... Let the Sales begin!

It is starting to feel like my favorite season of all.... Summer!

Summer means lots of things to me... beach time, vacations, long days full of sun, and Sale Season!

Our Mad About Shoe Semi-Annual Sale starts this Saturday, June 18th!

The Sale will start at 25% off all current shoe and sandal styles
and upwards to 65% off can be found in our clearance closet

We have had a great Spring season so far and the ladies who have come in have been very pleased with what we have to offer.

I figured I could use this blog here to share with you some of my & our customers favorite styles in store...

{Naot: Treasure}

Treasure by NAOT has been by far one of our best of the season. This Sandal offers a bit of a wedge, amazing support and the perfect amount of edge. The lines are chic and the steel color is a great way of falling out of the normal tans and brown colors of Spring and Summer.

{Andre Assous: Anouka}

These navy closed toe espadrilles have my two favorite components of this season: Cream and Navy. This color combo has been catching my eye all over. I like to consider it, a modest girl's way to color block. ;){KORS by Michael Kors: Dorothy}

{Stuart Weitzman - Alex}

Stuart Weitzman was just recently quoted, “Make your own curve. Don’t try to jump on the bandwagon. Pick a different route and [build] your own look, your own personality, like Lady Gaga did. We all know there are greater voices out there, but she figured it out and made a niche. That is what some of the greatest footwear designers out there have done, too.”

...Well Stuart, I agree. ;) I am a fan of pretty much everything Gaga puts out, from her music to her wild style, & a fan of the way Stuart Weitzman makes a positively gorgeous shapes in his shoes. The "Alex" is a prime example of how Stuart (I like to think we are on a first name basis) adds a twist to the classic. The wedge is high and the platform is just right. It has a nautical look that isn't nautical at all. Oh, Stuart... you must have had a conversation with my friend Stephanie (Lady Gaga).
